☠️ Ghost stories movie but story-wise they’re all four different and it is tough to judge a film when it comprises four very different stories. But like I said, they’re similar in tone and if you look at it the magically from that. The perspective you can find some tie-ins here and there so I will do my best to judge this on a fair note. Because and here’s the big reason I enjoyed parts of this film but there were some stories.
That I just did not respond to so here’s a quick synopsis of how I feel about each one. The first one wasn’t the biggest fan of the second one get better the third film was absolutely the best of the four. And the fourth oh man it just it was not good at all so I will go through each of these and then at the end.

Real ☠️ Ghost Stories in Hindi
I want to sum up my thoughts and give you guys as cohesive of an overall review as I can so the very first story. And I could give you directors’ names I will show them on screen. So I don’t completely botch them was actually fairly well directed. And I did not mind where I thought the story was going in the first half of the film. Ghost stories movie it was doing a good job of steadily building on the intensity.
But I wasn’t getting a torn from this story now as I mentioned in the synopsis there were two movies prior to this. That were also anthology films, but they were less horror and more different things than the previous film. I didn’t have time to see, but they apparently received it. Well, it was call lust stories now lust story was all about love and sex and relationships. And it tackled that theme and I feel that carried over here almost to an insane degree.
Because it’s incorporated into each one of these movies really except for my favorite.
Which is the third film and we’ll get into that one but especially this first one there’s an odd relationship? That I think impedes the horrifying element that was supposed to come to the forefront of this first one.
And it’s called ghost stories so one would think to go in they will focus on the horror. Ghost stories movie in this first short film, I just did not feel that and there’s really not a lot of payoffs or not. A lot of scares from this first story I didn’t mind it the old lady freaked me out in the beginning.
Netflix Horror Movie
But I just felt empty after watching and didn’t really get anything out of the ending this second story was similar. It was a series of slow build-ups from the music to the camera movement. And it was creepy oh my god it’s hard to even describe. What was happening in the second film I don’t want to really get into the plots of each of these? Because they each caught me off guard weather. it was in a good or a bad way but let’s just say there are really creepy practical effects.
That gives us a human-sized bird that is feeding on flesh and that freaked me out. And I’m also just I’m kind of scared of dolls not going to lie to you guys even though. There weren’t jump scares to an insane degree in this second film there were a lot of creepy dolls. That was showcased very well, so I liked the building of intensity. Like I said, but once again even though there was some horrifying imagery in this one compared to the first.
It was much scarier but I don’t think the scares and the impressive effects made up for the fact. That there was still a lack of an interesting story here it all just did not come together. I even like the color grading more it was definitely more grayish. But I felt the tone better from that and I liked this more but once again.
Real Ghost Stories Book 👻
It wasn’t something that blew me away now this third film really genuinely good. It impressed me I wanted to see a full movie out of this it’s not one. That gives you all the answers by the time you get to the end. You’re like oh how is this tying into this and was all of this happening.
A lot of subtleties and context clues throughout but we’re bringing back the great practical effects. Here it’s almost like this zombie-like scenario but the creatures look more like werewolves.
- Then they do zombies man, I loved where this story was headed.
- And I liked the fact that they used kids well.
- And they were a kind of leading our main character on this journey.
- Taking him through this adventure at first he didn’t believe him by the time.
- We get to the end without spoiling things it petrifies him terrified.
- Because of how scary the situation was and talking about scary imagery.
💀Great Horror Short Story
Maybe not as much as the second film but I feel like they handled it. Better and this was a genuinely great horror short story. Unfortunately, it’s packaged in a film that just gives us stuff. That isn’t as interesting but a shining beacon within my first movie of 2020. And there’s one scene where I’m a certain character I will not say.
- Who it is is being eaten, and I have just had chills up and down my body man.
- I thought it was so expertly handled the best direction easily out of the four.
- And then we get in the fourth one and I will be honest with you guys.
- This one was almost unwatchable just because of how repetitive the entire film was every five minutes.
- It feels like we get the same scene and it happened over and over its just our main character.
Walking through a hallway ending up somewhere creepy that doesn’t end up. Being as creepy as we expect it to be not a lot of payoff not really any semblance of an interesting story.
Here it’s all about this slightly messed up a relationship where this guy just keeps talking to his grandmother. That doesn’t exist and they’re having conversations. And our girls like okay please get me out of here and then we realize that maybe things are even weirder.

Then they seem because it’s not just this one character there are multiple characters involved. An almost a cult-like scenario but the story gets no more interesting. Then that sounded more interesting than I thought. The story was handling all the acting mostly it is solid. And all four films but this one I feel like everyone was just a tad bit over the top.
There’s one scene that really bothered me our character is standing in a clear view of our character. Who is talking to the grandmother but somehow he doesn’t realize? That she’s standing there the time, and he just has his conversation never sees her.
It was like she’s right there where is the logic within this script the logic just wasn’t really there for me. It really fell flat so 1 & 4 didn’t love to was better 3 was the only one sadly. That I would recommend so if you guys have time to check out ghost stories. And you want to see the best one for me it was a ghost story number 3 so overall a bit of a disappointment a horror anthology that did not come together.
